Sunset On The Lake

I took a roll of B&W shots and a number of digital shots of this sunset on 2-8-2004 at Draper Lake near Oklahoma City. This is a composition of two of the digital images. One of the images had a great sun and great water but really bad clouds while the other image had great clouds but that was all. First I simply adjusted the Levels and the Shadows/Highlights (my favorite new Adjustment in Photoshop CS) then I painted over the most of the clouds from the first picture and then pasted in the clouds from the second one and set the layer mode to Overlay. A little more tweaking and that was that.

I am placing this in this gallery because I feel it fits here better than it does in Indy Art: Photo Manipulated even though it was manipulated. I justify it like this, if I hadn't told you then you probably wouldn't have known.
