Fountain Of Light

This is a fountain that is out in front of Oklahoma City Community College where I attend classes. This shot was for the last assignment I had due, though I think I used a different frame because I did a large bracket and after seeing them all at full size I decided I like this one better. The print I made was still very nice though IMHO. This fountain is part of a project the city did along with the college. The city was going to do it no matter what as an addition to the drainage system for the surrounding area but the college got involved in order to try to make it more attractive than a large muddy hole in the ground for water to flow into. So now it is a large muddy hole in the ground for water to flow into that has a few trees and a walkway around it both of which are normally unaccessible since every time it rains the pond overflows. But hey the college doesn't flood quite as bad as it used to.

Alright technical junk. Taken on Ilford Delta 400 with my Rebel T2 and then scanned with my Epson 3170. I think I shot it at about f8 for 15 seconds with a tripod of course. There was quite a bit of noise from scanning so I had to touch it up some. Lame title as usual but they are not something I was ever very good at.
